yes Virginia, Southern California can get snow. It started to rain yesterday afternoon and it got colder and colder... and it was still raining when I went to sleep at 11pm.
I woke up at 7am and went downstairs to turn on the coffee and let Boots in. I clicked the button on the coffee maker and then looked out the window to see is Boots was sitting in her waiting spot. And that is when I saw it and said... OH MY GOD!!!
This was not just a light dusting. It was a good thick wet layer at least an inch thick.
