I actually finished this lesson over a week ago; I was busy with the day job, coming home late and leaving early that I did not get around to posting this. Lesson 10 was about the 3 ways that the threads from stitches can intersect with other stitching. There is:
- Overlay where the newest thread are just laid over the threads that are there, this happens when there is more than one design and the designs are sew sequentially.
- Interwoven where two or more design elements are sewn at the same time and one round is sewn of design a and then another round of design b is sewing. This causes the threads to be alternately laid over each other.
- Interlocked. This is when 2 or more designs are sewn but instead of overlaying the stitches from the second design on to the first, the design as a who is sewn going over or under the previous design where the threads cross.
